Live Messenger

I am a bad camgirl, for taking so long to install and try out the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. I generally run either yahoo or eyeball chat for my Niteflirt shows, but more and more often I am asked about Live Messenger, so I finally set up a new hotmail account and got it installed. So far, it looks GREAT, though I have only tested it with friends and not yet done a live show on it. I am so excited to give it a go “for real” because the cam seems to stream faster & BIGGER than either yahoo or eyeball chat.
No wonder people keep asking about it!
At heart, I am a yahoo lover - I’m a sucker for the smilies, the sounds, and I’m just comfortable with it as a chat program. But it sucks for camming, and I am always disappointed with it’s tendency to freeze, delay, and generally annoy myself and customers when it comes to webcam features. *sigh* Eyeball is vastly superior as a webcam program, and I am pretty jazzed to see how well Live Messenger works for those that use it. At the very least, we can all expect cam software to only get better and better, so who knows what the choices will be a year from now. Something to look forward to…ah the wonders of technology-enhanced masturbation!

The thought of Windows Live Messenger makes me shudder. I’m a Mac girl, and for some unknown, ungodly reason, all the cam chat programs on the Macintosh suck donkey dick. The only program with fully functional cam is iChat (AIM) and Yahoo has cam but no sound - MSN doesn’t even have… well… anything. WTF.
I, too, prefer Eyeball if I have to do the PC thing.
